FAQ

What is RNGdle?

RNGdle is a free browser game built around random three-digit codes. In Odds Run, predict properties of hidden codes over 12 rounds and use peeks and saves to protect your points. In Patterns, lock and reroll digits to complete five number combinations.

How do I play Odds Run?

Each round hides a code from 000 to 999. Choose one of three predictions about the code, then select “Reveal the code”. A correct prediction earns the reward shown on its card. You have 3 peeks to reveal individual digits and 2 saves to protect your points. The goal is to finish all 12 rounds with as many saved points as possible.

What is the difference between Daily and Unlimited?

Daily gives everyone the same 12 codes and prediction options. You get one official attempt per day in this browser. Unlimited generates a new puzzle for each run and lets you play as often as you like. You can restart an unfinished Unlimited run after confirming; the abandoned run does not count toward your statistics.

What is Patterns mode?

Patterns is a five-target number game. Lock digits you want to keep and reroll the others, with up to 2 rerolls per target. Match pairs, palindromes and other combinations to earn points. The displayed probability is for your next reroll with the current locks. Patterns has its own history and does not affect your Daily streak.

When does Daily reset, and how does my streak work?

Daily resets at midnight UTC (00:00 UTC). Complete all 12 rounds before the reset to record an official result for that day. Your streak counts consecutive UTC days on which you finish Daily, regardless of your score. Unlimited runs, friend challenges and archive replays do not count toward it.

What happens if my prediction is wrong?

You lose all points currently at risk, but keep your saved points and continue playing. After round 12, any points still at risk are saved automatically. This final save does not use either of your 2 manual saves.

How do peeks and saves work?

A peek reveals one digit of your choice and updates the probability shown for each prediction. Rewards stay the same. You can peek 3 times per run, at most once per round. A save protects all points currently at risk before you reveal the code. You can save twice per run, including after a peek. Neither action uses a round.

Is my progress saved when I refresh the page?

Yes. Moves and results that were saved successfully are restored when you refresh in the same browser. Your progress is linked to a cookie, so clearing cookies removes access to those records. Progress does not sync across browsers or devices.

How can I challenge a friend?

Complete an Unlimited run and select “Challenge a friend” to create a link. Anyone with the link can see your final score and play the same 12 codes and prediction options, using their own peeks and saves. Each friend gets one attempt in their browser and sees a comparison with your score after finishing.

Can I play past daily puzzles?

Yes. Published daily puzzles become available in the archive after their deadline. You can play each archived puzzle once in this browser and resume it later, with no time limit. Archive scores are recorded separately and do not change your official Daily results or streak. Only past puzzles that have been published are available.

Where can I see my past scores?

Open History to see your Daily completion calendar, scores over the last 30 days and completed Odds Runs across Daily, Unlimited, archive and friend challenges. Patterns results appear on the Patterns page. Select a result to review your predictions, peeks and saves. Abandoned runs are excluded from these statistics.

Can I install RNGdle as an app?

Yes. Use Install app in the footer for instructions. Supported browsers can add RNGdle to your home screen or desktop. Installation does not add an account or sync progress between devices.

Can I play offline?

An internet connection is required to play and save moves. After your first online visit and the offline files have downloaded, you can read the rules and probability guide without a connection. Reconnect to restore your game and retry any interrupted move.

Can I turn off the flip sounds?

Yes. Select the speaker button near the game mode tabs to turn sounds off or on. Your setting is remembered in this browser. Sounds play only after you interact with the game; they do not play automatically when you refresh.
